Thursday morning, January 22nd, 2009, the Hanoi People’s Committee Department of Transport has put the Long Bien Bus Interchange in operation.

Ho Chi Minh city will offer a monthly ticket or single tickets for free to more than 10.000 city officer in order to creat habit of using bus service. Particularly, Officer at Department of Transport have to use this modal twice a week. This will commence on 1st September.

A plan to support Hanoi's officers travelling by bus between Ha Noi and Ha Dong has been reached between Hanoi Departement of Transport (Dot) and Hanoi Transport Corporation (Transerco) on the afternoon, August 7. Cost will be paid by Goverment in first three months.

In order to decrease traffic jam inner city and make favourable conditions for bus passengers, Hanoi Department of Transport and Hanoi Public Transport Management and Operation Center (Tramoc) adjust 5 bus routes from beginning of July.

From July 1st, Hanoi Department of Transport (DOT) shall cooperate with inter-agencies forces to dissolve violations in encroaching, occupying bus shelters, and handle strictly drivers running fast, overcoming carelessly.
