According to strategic orientation for the development to 2030, Hanoi will rate over average mark among 150 cities having the largest economic size in the world, GDP per capita will attain 11,000 – 12,000 USD and the traffic jam will be solved.

Hanoi Department of Transport has just submitted to Hanoi People’s Committee the approval of constructing intersections in order to reduce traffic jam in Hanoi in the period 2010 – 2015.

In Hanoi, not only in the intersection or market, we can even see the traffic violations as: running through road in front of the school gates.

An activity plan of road safety in 5 years (2011 – 2015) has just launched within the framework of The Project for Traffic Safety Human Resource Development in Hanoi (TRAHUD).
